This trail goes by Marion Lake, Fox Creek Pass, Sheep Steps, Sunset Lake, Hurricane Pass, Horse Camp, Group Camp, Hitchrail, Paintbrush Divide, Holly Lake, Campsite #2, Campsite #1, and Campsite #3.

We spent 4 nights in the park to complete this trail and it was the perfect amount of time. We swam in several alpine lakes, came across pronghorns, mule deer, porcupines, marmots, pikas, hummingbirds, and a bull moose with full velvet. It was a beautiful time in the mountains, easy to navigate, with rewarding climbs over the pass.
