Overview
This is an easy and highly popular out and back trail to Taggart Lake. You can expect the parking lot to be full, but parking is available on the street. This is the most heavily travelled trail from this trailhead, and you can expect to see multiple groups along the way. The trail is easy for young children, with lots of side trails to the nearby stream offering fun distractions to keep them entertained as you venture along the trail to the lake. Once at the lake there are plenty of large rocks and other perches available providing great views of the Grand Teton Peaks. This trail may be one of the most easily accessed trail for views and photo opportunities of the Grand Teton Peaks.
