Good exercise. Nice hills. Fun stream crossings. The old recreation area is interesting to explore. Parts of the trail are muddy. A stream seems to come up out of the ground and run down the trail for about 20 yards.

The 8 miles on the horseshoe trail were very nice. The return trip was much shorter but less scenic.
The only negative was that I had to keep stepping off the trail for bikes all day.

This was probably 12 miles. Phone battery died. Nice hike. Plenty of ways to shorten it.

This is my favorite trail in the park. The hills are tough, but seeing the boulders along the stream at the bottom of the hill makes it all worthwhile. I like to have my lunch on a Boulder. Prettiest place in all of French Creek State Park.

I like this hike because it is in one of the least crowded parts of the park.

Difficult initial side trail (N then E then S) was rough- in-groomed, many tree falls, so trail diff to follow. Millers point is fully ungroomed so value is reduced until Winter. Good hike though, for a real workout, under 3 hours. EZ to add distance & elevation.
I’ll come back to extend my track East & South...
A connect with Coventry Woods is possible but means either backtracking or trespassing.

This is a great hiking, biking, and jogging park. Great Trails to hike on. Hopewell Lake offers boating and a nice swimming pool. Great park.
