Super fun backcountry skiing served by a tram top section was waist deep smoke . And decent from tram house is spicy! I met a couple guys from Norway and we figured it out together!
It’s skiers right all the way
Basically try to find the hiking trail and follow it back down !
Or ride the tram !!! If you arnt sure of your skill set

The Nordic ski course at Asahidake. One big 7.5km loop and a lower 2.5km loop they groom more regularly.

You need to get lucky either way the weather. For us -20 and great the first run. Second run the wind picked up hard but still great fun. Wind affected pow was still quite nice but the terrain was amazing

(Skiing) Don’t go on a cloudy day, unless you know back country trails well. Best skiing is in the Alipine. Low winds, clear skies. Tree areas can have some steep but huge flat section in the middle.
