Day 1
Headed out at noon, partly cloudy, cool breeze, no bugs. First several miles were mostly in dead forest. Trail opened up for beautiful view of wr, stopped for lunch. Soon after, started thundering and raining. Kept raining for hour or 2, we all got soaked. Passed lots of beautiful little mountain lakes before island lake. Island lake super gorgeous-view of dramatic peaks. Found a camp spot where we can see and hear waterfall too. Made fire, ate, legs tires but not beat.
Note-get 2 new sawyer

Hoping to make it over Indian pass this trip in search of golden trout. John and I left the Wood boys behind to find a camp site, just before Seneca lake. Morris boys win the day!
