Runyon Canyon Road Loop
Overview
This is a moderate to challenging loop trail in Runyon Canyon Park. The views are fantastic and some of the best in the area. However, it is often busy and parking is limited.
Getting Started
There is a small parking lot (fits approximately 20 cars) at the access point at the top of the canyon — accessible via Mulholland Drive. However, this is often completely full, and there is no overflow. There are no parking lots at other access points, but street parking is available at Fuller Ave. and Vista St. at the bottom of the canyon.
Taking Children
There is a paved fire access road that is relatively easy to walk and navigate with younger children. This road can be accessed from both the lower and upper parts of the canyon. However, the East and West trails are not paved, and can be challenging for young kids.
