Brown's Lake Out and Back, Colorado
Beautiful, well traveled and maintained trail. We hiked in 3 miles the first evening and gained~850 feet and camped near the waterfall. The next day we hiked the remaining 3 miles to the lake and gained another 1,600 feet in elevation and camped at the lake at 11,400 feet. We were the only campers at the lake and we really did not see anyone above the waterfall trail. On the way down, we passed crowds of people and horses making the 6 mile round trip to the waterfall.
