Overview

This is a difficult out and back trail to Mount Kosciuszko in Kosciuszko National Park.

This trail goes by Seamans Hut, Rawson Pass, Charlotte Pass, Charlotte Pass Lookout, and Main Range Lookout on an old section of Kosciusko Road that was once open to vehicle traffic. It is still possible to cycle to Rawson Pass. There, you need to park your bicycle and continue on foot if you wish to ascent Mount Kosciusko.

Getting Started

Park in Charlotte Pass along Kosciusko Road. Note that parking is limited and you may need to park way down on Kosciusko Road during summer peak days. Arrive early!

In winter, Kosciuszko Road is closed at Perisher.

Note that there is a shorter alternative route to Mount Kosciuszko from Thredbo.
