This is a difficult one way trail in Maroon Bells–Snowmass Wilderness Area.
This trail goes by bridge and rapids, Crater Lake, West Maroon Pass, Frigid Air Pass, Trail Rider Pass, and Buckskin Pass.

Maroon Bells- Snowmass 4 Passes Loop
Wonderful 3 day hike with Sue, Erik and Kevin. Kevin and I had done this loop 2 years ago in the clockwise direction and we returned to do it in the counterclockwise direction. This was, again, the prettiest hike we have done despite the fact that visibility was limited by a little bit of smoke from fires many miles away. The counterclockwise direction made the first day quite a bit harder, but we started early, took our time, and the rest of the trip was then easier and more enjoyable. This hike starts at 9,600 feet and crosses 4 mountain passes that are all at about 12,500 feet -- rough for an old man but I made it. Beautiful sights! Fabulous company! Fresh air and water from clear mountain streams (UV sterilized of course)!
Maroon Bells 4 Pass Loop
My bells were rung. But I would pay any price to experience this again.
Saw fox at entrance, dusky grouse, bald eagle, lots of deer. Super Bloom with incredible campsites and a polar plunge. One of the prettiest hikes I've done
