Overview
This is a difficult out and back trail to Lillian Lake Backcountry Campground in Spray Valley Provincial Park.
This trail goes by Lillian Lake and Galatea Lakes.
Good beginner backcountry camping hike to stay at Lillian Lake. Cross many bridges. Trail is well maintained. Some steeper parts, nothing exposed. Slow and steady incline, 6.3km, to Lillian lake. Can continue up the steep path to upper and lower Galetea lakes (additional 4km round trip back to Lillian Lake).
Getting Started
Park at the Galetea Lakes parking lot on highway 40. There is a sign by the trailhead. Check online for seasonal/wildlife annual closures.
