Done this twice now. Awesome hike. A great little scramble if you want it. Can be avoided if you don't. Lots of larches so id recommend this as a late fall larch hike. Not difficult. One of the highest reward to effort ratio hikes out there.

Fantastic hike! Phenomenal 360 views, hard to not trip over your feet when you are trying to take in the views! Wildflowers in the valley as well. One of my top hikes of all time.

June 4, 2019. Trail completely dry, lake good for jumping in! The spring is only about a km past the lake and is uphill but I wouldn't say it was steep. Easy trail to follow.

Nov 7 2018. 0-3 inches snow, no spikes/crampons/gaiters required. No avy risk. More scrambling over loose large rocks than I would like. Rimwall and Windtower are better IMO.
