Fantastc views but the uphill section is hard and more rock climbing than walking with no visible trail.

Superbe randonnée, paysages exceptionnels mais l’ascension était plus de l’escalade que de la randonnée

Gaia tracked 13.5km, Strava 14.6km, both tracked 500m of elevation gain. Actual hiking time was 4.5 hours. We took our time with photos and breaks. Gradual climb for the most part. Last kilometer is a grind. Hot day and turned around at Lillian Lake, will come back to do Galatea Lake and Guinn’s Pass. Beautiful hike along the creek and through a pretty forest. Occasionally you get views down the valley. Highly recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal outing! Weather and trail conditions were perfect. Virtually no traffic, however met some great people on the trail that we saw last week at Chester Lake. Today the photos ops were incredible. As a local we are still in awe when we see the surrounding beauty.

One of my favorite hikes! 11.5km round trip. Recommend starting at the south trailhead and going clockwise so that you do the scrambly section on the way up and the easier way on the way down. The view gets better with every step. Do the loop, don't go up and down as the views are incredible the entire way around. You are only in the trees for the first 1-2km then it opens up and you start gaining elevation and views. Highly recommend. Please if the parking is full find another hike down the road and come back another day as this can get busy.

Awesome trail. As it is a long ridge walk, check the wind forecast and know what you’re getting into :)

Done this twice now. Awesome hike.
A great little scramble if you want it. Can be avoided if you don't.
Lots of larches so id recommend this as a late fall larch hike.
Not difficult. One of the highest reward to effort ratio hikes out there.

Fantastic hike! Phenomenal 360 views, hard to not trip over your feet when you are trying to take in the views! Wildflowers in the valley as well. One of my top hikes of all time.

June 4, 2019. Trail completely dry, lake good for jumping in! The spring is only about a km past the lake and is uphill but I wouldn't say it was steep. Easy trail to follow.
