Lake Imaging Loop
Overview
This is a easy loop trail in Dupont State Recreational Forest. This trail is a multi use for hikers, bikers and horse riders. The trail has very little elevation change, and could be accomplished by most still levels. Although this trail is multi use, 95% of the users are bikers. The distance for this trail is 4.5 miles which would raise the difficulty, due to distance. There is little to no points of interest in this trail. There is a very small lake at the beginning of this trail that has a picnic shelter. Rated as a 2 of 5 for hikers due to lack of points of interest, and mostly bikers using the trail.
This trail goes by Lake Imaging.
Getting Started
This trail is mostly used by bikers and the parking lot will get full very quickly on the weekends. If you want to use this trail, plan on getting there either early or later in the day to find a parking spot. The parking lot is located off of Stanton road, and is well marked with "Lake Imaging". The trailhead is in the left side of the parking lot. Be sure that you download your maps, or bring a well details map of the area. The trail contains multiple intersections, so be sure that you follow the proper route.
Taking Children
This trail can be done by children, but smaller children will need to be monitored close due to the many bikers that also use the trail so that there are no collisions.
