Tecumseh 2/48
#2: No view- summit socked in, ice pelted from trees by the wind. Trail was very rooty but beautiful, making up for any vista disappointment. The contrast of moss covered boulders and trees against the cloudy haze wafting across the trail gave it an enchanted feel. Even though I knew about it, the false summit had me constantly checking GPS. I wasn't expecting the descent to be quite as long and was relieved to hit the final ascent. Weather cleared on my descent, offering blue skies and warm temps. Went from wearing a puffer at the summit to tank back at the car.

Nice temperature.
Tripoli road 93 North exit 31 This is my second time hike up to Tecumseh trail. Many dogs were out with hikers. Mostly black dogs.

My first 4K footer since May. I was very careful with my hips, took longer time but I was pretty happy that I did it. We had great lunch on the summit Keum’s 부추 부침 with chop sticks …great views on the summit.

From trailhead on Tripoli Road. Moderate steady climb. Not particularly rocky compared to most NH hikes. Very humid and somewhat slippery
