    Nice hike to interesting and unique spot. Not an easy hike, gains around 300 ft each way. Someone called it easy an that’s irresponsible! Maybe a 4 on a 1-10 scale.

    Short, easy hike to the 49 Palm Oasis. Not sure if there are 49 palms but there were a lot of them. A lot of people on the trail too. A few wild flowers were in bloom.

    Easy hike with an nice view of palms. Amazing how people carve into these beauties and even had a fire that charred some of them.

    Easy out and back traill to scenic palm oasis. The trail is heavily traveled. Don't expect much solitude.

Forty nine Palms
More typical mountain hike, did not have unique rock at other Joshua hikes. Still had good steps built into up/down. Up and over mountain. And down to oasis - looked cool, like out of a movie. Lots of red barrel cactus.
