This was the Short Course for the 2022 Smuggler’s Poker Run. A lightly challenging trail for intermediate riders. Worst obstacle would be tight, downhill switchbacks with loose sandy gravel. Be sure your air filter is clean and well oiled, this track is very dusty. Other than that, it provides great views of Capitol Forest and the surrounding area.

Great hike but watch out for old growth trees falling due to the weight of rain and wind. Well graveled trail and tons of catwalks so mud was not an issue. My 2 year old did 1.5 miles no problem.
