Overview

This is an easy hike through old growth with several viewing platforms of Mclane Creek and the beaver pond. It's a well taken care of gravel trail with lots of bridges and catwalks. Parking is limited. Bathrooms always clean and there's 2 covered picnic tables. Great trail for the family and dogs.

This is an alternate route for pond Loop via McLane Creek Nature Trail and McLane Creek Nature Trail Upper Loop.

Great hike but watch out for old growth trees falling due to the weight of rain and wind. Well graveled trail and tons of catwalks so mud was not an issue. My 2 year old did 1.5 miles no problem.
