Easy hike on mostly sandy road and then in a sandy wash. The arch blends in to the cliffside, so it is hard to pick out from the surrounding rocks. Find the trail that hugs the rock face to make your way up to the arch and the best view where the elephant reveals itself. Because you are now on the opposite side of the arch you now have sky under the trunk which forms the arch and a small hole that forms the eye.

We did the nearly ten mile loop, starting at Red Cliffs Campground. It was spectacular continuous canyon for the first six miles. The last four, on Prospector trail, were less interesting. But still glad we did the loop! If you go further than a mile, be prepared for some significant scrambling, up to low Class 5.

Mustang Pass is boring hike. After a mile from trail head there is a gradual climb up a rocky trail, then the downside is switchbacks. Nothing interesting to see. So many better trails closer to Grapevine.
This is a one way track. You can return to trailhead on the equally boring dirt/sandy power line road.

Fairly easy hike along yellow mounds/reefs. Trail skirts the reefs rather than go over or up any. 3 stars as there are many other better hikes in the area, so just average.

Do leeds to whitereef. Going the other way all the views are behind you. It's an easy trail but most of the red cliffs aren't visible from the whitereefs section. Worth taking the "adit" stretch up the hill where leeds and whitereef join to get the best view.

Pretty relaxing trail in this area. I went at night since that’s my usual time so be weary of rattle snakes and spiders. There is low light pollution in this area so I recommend it for star gazing. Overall it’s a solid trail that the majority of people can do. Make sure to take the paper that has a map and fun facts of the area for more in depth explanation of the spiders.

Great hike with views. Mostly easy walking but a lot of soft sand that made it a little taxing.

Yant Flat is a stunning geologic attraction. The trail itself is wide and well-travelled. It’s easily accessible from civilization by distance for an AWD or even 2WD but the narrow mountain switchbacks on the road to get there could make some drivers nervous.
It’s dog friendly but can be a busy trail. If you can’t get out to White Pocket, this is your alternative!

This was a ATV trip, basically its a county maintained road the ends/starts in diamond valley. Not that “adventurous” of a ride. So only a two star because its not a “off-road” experience.
