Mostly prairie hike along bottom of formations. Ran into swampy areas in foot trail due to recent rains. We only hiked up to a plateau at the beginning of deer haven forested area. Not a difficult ascent.
Took in 5 liters of water and it was enough for this hike. 5 liters would not be enough to continue through deer haven to het higher. Did get to se a bald eagle and got some great photos. We spent the night at the Plateau
