Great trail to see old cedars and the disease that plagues them. It was a fun late Sunday afternoon hike. Easy and quick. Next time I’d plan more time and have a small picnic at the closed campgrounds. Had the whole trail and areas to ourselves.

Road is kinda narrow in some places better for Jeeps and Tacoma’s but my crew cab F-150 did it no problem. Rocky terrain wouldn’t do it on a stock vehicle without good tires and lift. I aired down but fastest I went was 25. Crap ton of mosquitoes and the lake isn’t really beautiful as I had hoped.
