Both had icy step approach. Ovis had some icicles near entrance. No complete darkness, could climb out a different hole.

Different cave style, 3 levels merged with steps/ladders down. Natural ice floor and a colder cave. Skull exhibit at bottom.

Great long trail very isolated and quiet. Fern cave and Juniper Butte are nice stops along the way.
