For the area, this is a wonderful hike. You get elevation gain and loss throughout the hike and there are many highlights such as ruins of churches, castles, city walls. There are natural attractions like caves and the beautiful river views, and you walk among Vinyards. It is all very enjoyable. At the end of the hike there are plenty of places to grab something to eat in the charming town.
