Incredible hike. Watch for markers carefully while on the higher elevation part. We did get caught in a thunder and lightning storm. Rocks not too slippery, but small roots growing across trail, very slippery.

If you like tree skiing and the tighter the better, you will love this one ... it’s not my cup of tea. Maybe, we also didn’t ski the best and most open tree line. There were a few open spots, those were excellent.

Half a Rockwall! Excellent varied trail. Challenging but worth it. Iceline is spectacular. Climb down from Iceline is brutal, but don’t go the other way.
Consider front country at Takkakkaw Falls, then Twin Falls to Whaleback or Laughing Falls across to Little Yoho for a quicker trip. Could try Celeste Lake connector to avoid brutal end.

Park at the end of the trail instead of at the main lot.
