Started by heading north on the trail, less traffic, and offers a good (moderate) workout. Once you get to the pass to climb to the peak it gets very busy and crowded. They don't want dogs on this part of the trail. From the point where the trail meets the peak turn off, it is very rough with big steps and has heavy traffic.
