Overview
This is a easy out and back trail to Roan High Bluff in North Carolina. At the end there is viewing deck providing great views out over the bluff.
The trail passes the Rhododendron Garden. This area has additional nature trails that are perfect for seeing Rhodos when they are in bloom.
Getting Started
There is ample parking at toilets at the Roan High Knob Trail parking area.
From this same parking area, it is a short walk to the historic site of the Cloudland Hotel. This spot is now a lovely meadow.
Taking Children
This is a good hike for children. Pets on leash are fine as well.
