Clark and Wilson Park Loop via Wildwood Trail and Northwest Leif Erikson Drive(edit)

Overview

An easy loop through Clark and Wilson Park, part of Portland's Forest Park. The loop connects Leif Erikson and the Wildwood trail with Hardesty and Cannon trails. The Hardesty trail is steep, but short. Along Leif Erikson drive pass the foundations of Kitchell Farm.

Getting Started

There are several trailhead options, including Leif Erikson Germantown Road trailhead, not to be confused with the Leif Erikson traihead at the south end of the park. Arrive early as this and other Forest Park trailheads fill quickly.

Taking Children

Good hike for children. If 6 miles is too far, there are options for a shorter loop.
