Fun, steep, pretty hike. It’s mellow at first, then some rolling hills, and then BAM! climb the face of Grass Mountains. Saw two other people, the colors and temp are beautiful this time of year, our dog did great. There’s a nice area at the top that we’re eyeing for a future backpacking trip.

Great in the spring with the wildflowers. Steep up and needed trekking poles or sticks on the descent. Combine it with the 'Lovers Loop' for a 10 mile day.
