Steve’s first time - mt Major trail blue ascent brook trail yellow descended.
I was very careful today because I have not been feeling well for 3 days.
Hips, leg and knee has been hurting last hike 5/29/2021 Tripyramid with Catskills hikers I was hurting and limping and painful for the first time, pain level was so bad !

Fairly short hike. Went up the blue trail and down the yellow. Blue is steeper and slightly more intense, but the view is better. It increasingly opens up over Alton bay. The yellow is much easier and a better decline. Not too many steep slopes and a small stream to cool off and dip your hat or handkerchief in. Worth multiple hikes, good half day.
