Cathedral Peak Loop
The best hike I've done to date in Santa Barbara! The hike starts and finishes at the Tunnel Trailhead. At the cutoff for Seven Falls the trail climbs left up to Arlington Peak via "The Dragon's Back" and then continues to the summit of Cathedral Peak and finally to the top of La Cumbre Peak. To finish the loop walk about 15 minutes along E. Camino Cielo to the upper Tunnel Trailhead and follow it 4.5 miles down to your car on Tunnel road. The whole loop is just under 9 miles, but the portion from the cutoff to Seven Falls to the top of Arlington Peak involves a good amount of 2nd and 3rd class scrambling on sandstone boulders, so bring some grippy shoes and allow at around 7 hours to complete the hike.
