Lake Superior PP’s Awausee Trail
Our first strenuous hike of big trip #5. Steep and fairly long ascent to a couple of overlooks and then a pretty gradual descent down through the woods and along a creek. Really enjoyable. On the trail by 8am and didn’t see anyone until the last 1/3 mile or so. Not many people seem to hike in this park - only 2 other cars in parking area when we left at 10:45am.
