Overview
This is a moderate one way trail in Susquehannock State Forest.
This trail goes by Elk Lick Knob.
Getting Started
This hike shows the route from Red Ridge Road to PA 144. This would make for a great out and back if you want to spend the day in the woods. Parking is available at the northern end along Red Ridge Road, or about a mile north on PA 144 in the town of Cross Fork.
The only significant elevation is from PA 144 to the top of the plateau, about 1000ft in total.
Taking Children
It is possible to take children on this trail, but understand that the remoteness and ruggedness are important factors to consider.
