Bumpass Hell
Family hike to the Bumpass Hell thermal area on our first full day in Lassen NP. Waited until late in the day due to thunder and rain earlier in the afternoon. Drove the park road first, then stopped to do this hike on the return drive. Probably had fewer people due to starting the hike late in the day. Very pretty thermal area and not too difficult a hike. Crossed a very small amount of snow near the parking area.
