Overview
This is a easy out and back trail to Tumalo Mountain in Deschutes National Forest. 4 miles round-trip, 1400 feet of gain. Great views from the top.

Dirt trail, well used. Somewhat steady incline. Description says easy, but hike is more moderate depending on user. Didn’t feel too steep on way down. Lower 1/3 of trail is heavily forested with some open stretches towards mid to upper summit. Few false summits to tease you, and the many kids saying what we’re only half way? Probably better for kids who don’t mind a bigger climb-incline. Walk around somewhat bald top for views of Mt. Bachelor, Sisters, and Broken Top.
