Very nice weather and dry conditions in mid March. The beautiful scenery makes this a pleasure in cooler weather as there is no shade to speak of here. It feels like a true wilderness with no signs of infrastructure for miles. The washes were dry and the usual creeks had a small amount of water in them, no danger of mud or getting soaked feet.
