Yosemite Wawona
Came 40 minutes from Bass Lake. Got through gate 7:15 am to avoid very long wait. Breakfast at historic Wawona Hotel. Sunny and 45* to start and 70* to finish. Short stroll in historic area, very cool. Then meadow hike- most was in mature forest with meadow views. Trail was old road and washed out on first half but still easy and scenic. Grizzly Giant loop had to take shuttle. East trail and lots of Sequoias.
