Hiked on 12/23. It’s a pretty long trail but not much elevation changes. The views are nice at the ends. Started from east rim and did both cable mountain and deertrap mountain. It’s a bout 24 miles total and finished in about 8 hours. Saw MANY deers, there were more deer tracks than human footprints in deertrap. Only saw a group of runners and a few others who started their hike from stave spring.
