Carr Lake to Island lake
Start from Carr Lake parking lot. Hike in from parking area was pretty much snow covered but island lake camping was mostly clear of snow. Hiked to Penner Lake Friday morning then returned to Island Lake to set up camp for the night. Many nice spots at Island Lake. It got crowded towards late afternoon on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. It was definitely a good idea to get here Friday early afternoon.
