Day 1 Trail: Rifugio Tre Scarperi to Locatelli Tre Cime
following the traditional AV4 route, the hike to Locatelli today is neither long nor difficult, but there are two spectacular OPTIONAL via ferrata and a handful of small sidetrips within Parco Naturale Tre Cime that absolutely shouldn’t be missed-- the challenging Via Ferrata Torre di Toblin (ADDS 1.5hrs; hard) and the scenic/historic Via Ferrata De Luca/Innerkofler & (link to) Via Ferrata delle Forcelle (ADDS 2-3.5hrs; moderate)
