Trial 1 and 2 Sugar Creek Loop(edit)

Overview

This is a loop trail made up of Trails 1 and 2 in the park. It follows Sugar Creek and will take you past a covered bridge and Gypsy Gulch. Hike in the winter to see a totally different trail and maybe see a frozen waterfall.

Getting Started

Find the trailhead by parking at the nature center in the park. You'll head north toward Sugar Creek and the suspension bridge. Pick up the trail by heading east along the creek.

Taking Children

This is a good trail for older children. There are a couple of rock climbs that you will have to negotiate. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a 6ft leash.
