Bridge to Nowhere Hike
The 6 hour, 10.5 mile Bridge to Nowhere hike in the San Gabriel Mountains is one those hike you have to do at least once in your life. As the name suggests, you hike along the San Gabriel River in beautiful wilderness for about 5 miles, and then, out of nowhere, there's a huge, 120 foot high bridge! The hike is fun, especially on a hot summer day, because there are plenty of stream crossings and water holes to cool off in. It's a classic Southern California hike that every local knows about, and is worth doing at least once.
Arcadia-Bridge to Nowhere
This track in one way. It took 6 hours for the round trip which includes a 1 hr 20 minutes stop at the bridge. We swam in the water pools below the bridge. They have bunji jumping at the bridge on Saturdays from 10 -2. We parked in the parking lot at 6am and got one of the last places.
