We took the northernmost portion of the east valley trail from the waterfall at soldier canyon to the well gulch trail, then joined with the west valley trail on the way back. On a beautiful day in late March the trail was quite busy, for good reason, and thankfully we did not see any snakes this day. The views of the red rock bluffs and the Arthur's side mountains were gorgeous from the bottom trail. Very scenic the whole way and easy hiking from a smooth trail with little climbing. Caution: lots of bikers.
