This is a difficult loop trail to Jefferson's Rock in Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park.
This trail goes by Split Rock, Storer College, Camp Hill, Lake Quigley, Highacre, Industry Museum, Harper House: The Mansion on the Hill, "A journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step", John Brown Fort, Merriwether Lewis, White Hall Tavern, Weapons Under Fire, Lewis and Clark, Six Acres that Changed the World, Armory Grounds, John Brown's Last Stand, John Brown's Fort (Armory Firehouse), Lock 33, and Maryland Heights.
This is an alternate route for Split Rock Loop via Loudoun Heights Trail and Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
