Moderate hike going mostly uphill through dense forest. Decent amount of bugs but none that attacked our face too much. Great view of Harper’s Ferry from Split Rock. Saw two trains go by across the bridge. We crossed a snake on the trail going up and got the closest to a deer we have ever been coming back down. We need to visit Harper’s Ferry next time.
