Decalibron: Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross.
Overview
This is a moderate loop trail to Mount Democrat, Mount Cameron, Mount Lincoln, and Mount Bross.
Challenging hike that has you at ~14,000 ft for a good portion of the hike. The trail is well marked until Bross which can be a little confusing but as long as you walk towards the east side of the peak you will see the trail down. This hike is typically done clockwise which allows for the scramble on Bross to be done downhill.
Getting Started
The road is navigable from the main highway in most vehicles with a little caution as there are ruts and rocks.
There are a number of camping spots at the lake which are only allowed in designated spaces. Some distance from the lake camping is allowed in non-designated spots. Bathrooms are available at the trailhead parking lot.
The trail leads across the creek and up from the parking lot.
Taking Children
This is a challenging hike but little to no technical sections.
