Deer Lake Lodge
trail_hike_comments: Starting at the Rice Pinnacle parking area, the trail is paved up to the former Deer Lake Lodge site and crosses a long wooden bridge along the way. Beyond the old lodge, which is now marked by a clearing on the right, the trail turns sharply left and travels uphill beneath some powerlines. The remainder of the trail is twisty and rolling before ending at Ledford Branch Road.
This trail has several interpretive signs along it that pertain to forest management practices, and areas that demonstrate the various stages of managed woodland., trail_bike_comments: Starting at the Rice Pinnacle parking area, the trail is paved up to the former Deer Lake Lodge site and crosses a long wooden bridge along the way.
