Table Rock Trail to the Summit
Overview
This is one of the most popular hikes in SC for a reason. While not exceedingly long or difficult, it offers a challenging climb, with some rocky scrambles that add some adventure.
Leaving from the Nature Center at Table Rock State Park, the trail passes Carrick Creek Falls and Green Creek Falls before begin the steeper climbing.
On the way to the summit you'll pass the charismatic Halfway Shelter, and you'll get some interesting views from Governor's Rock as you climb up the shallow steps chiseled in the rock.
Continue past the Summit for a short distance to reach the real payoff, the rocky cliffs with dramatic views of the Table Rock Watershed and the SC foothills area.
