We really enjoyed this hike in the fog today. Got to the trailhead around 10 am. The scramble up to Hoyt Peak at the beginning of the trail was brutal. Very loose rock. Not recommended for the faint of heart. Easy to lose the trail coming off Hoyt Peak. After you reach the marked trail, it's a straightforward and pleasant hike with great views. The switchbacks at the end were a bit tougher than I expected.
