Lake Overlook Loop via Rosemary Ridge Trail(edit)

Overview

This is an easy loop trail to Lake Overlook in Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens. This trail goes by Creek Overlook and Lake Ray. You will walk through many different types of ecosystems as you observe the many plants identified with both their common name and Latin name. There are QR codes to scan along the way for a "guided tour".

Getting Started

Park in the dirt lot (may be busy on weekends) and start at the main signs. There is a water fountain and primitive toilet at the trailhead. There are usually maps available at the main signs. There are many different ways to access the trails.

Taking Children

This is an easy trail for children with lots of signage about different plants along the way. Bring bug spray and sunscreen.
