Overview

Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens is a nature reserve in Florida. There are several trails through the arboretum, including a loop appropriate for children. Many plants, lichen, fungus, and trees are labeled next to the trail. Informational signs are abundant.

Getting Started

Park in the dirt lot just past the gated entry. Arrive early as it fills up quickly on nice days/weekends. There is a $3 cash suggested donation- envelopes and a drop box are located near the trail map at the trailhead.

Well-behaved leashed dogs are allowed. Remember to bring bags to pick up waste.
