The park ranger at the main gate was not letting anyone in this morning, stating the park was filled to capacity; however you could clearly see there were open parking spaces. So we drove all the way up to Chestnut Lane to begin at the other end of the park. This was a bad idea having taken our young daughter and the dog with us today - it was a long hike. We ended up taking the green trail up to the tower trail and then the tower trail to the red trail straight down to the road where we went back towards our vehicle, then meandered back up the red where we met another hiker who informed us about this app. Then we hiked to the yellow to the same entrance.

Hike was dry and overall the scrambles were easy. Good views of the long island sound and universities in the area.
