This is more than just a Maisie's Peak loop. I started at the main parking area at the golf course and hiked up to Maisie's Peak, then continued on Coyote Ridge and looped back around the Wedding, Vista Loop, and Fern Trails. Then I dropped in to see a horse at Garrod's Stables and took the Toyon Trail back where I came from, and then looped around the Seven Springs Trail before returning to the parking lot.
The trails are in great shape, maybe a little dusty from the mountain bikes, but no problems. All trails were open, there were at least a couple of trails that only recently reopened after repairs from the last rainy season. A first for me, a coyote passed me on the Coyote Ridge Trail at the Maisie's Peak spur. It stopped to have a look at me before continuing on its way.
